  A comfortable and effective management for pelvic girdle pain  
     
     
 
 

The pelvic girdle consists of three joints: two sacroiliac joints (SI) at the back and the symphysis pubis at the front. Any of these three joints can cause Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP).

Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) can affect different groups of the general population; in particular pregnant women, low back pain sufferers and sportsmen/women. PGP can be the result of trauma and considered to be the main source of pain in up to 30% of low back pain sufferers and up to 50% of pregnant women.

SacroFix provides a solution to PGP by applying a uniquely directed external compression to the pelvis to improve the joint stability, with research showing that targeted compression is key to optimal stability and pain relief. SacroFix has been shown as safe to be used during pregnancy. Pregnant users have experienced a reduction in the intensity of pain experience

Mode of action

SacroFix is made of Meryl/Lycra fabric which not only provides supportive compression to the whole pelvic ring, is also breathable, moisture-wicking for all-day-long wearing comfort.

Through a 4-way adjustable pelvic compression belt, the brace is able to deliver specific compression requirements; producing either symmetrical compression or greater compression at the front or back, or on the left or right sides or diagonally.

The height of the pelvic belt can be adjusted according to specific patient/condition requirements to allow positioning for optimal pain relief.

The bukle assembly can be pivoted to allow the anterior (front) and posterior (back) components of the pelvic compression belt to be angled for optimal fit and comfort. This is especially useful when used for Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) during pregnancy.

This product is not designed for continuous 24 hour use, or night use.
