Pediatric
Scoliosis Brace
The
SpineCor® Dynamic Corrective Brace was invented
by a team of 65 researchers led by Professor Charles
H Rivard M.D and Dr. Christine Coillard M.D. of the
Research Center, Sainte-Justine Hospital (Montreal,
Quebec, Canada). It took more than 12 years and millions
of dollars in research funding to develop the world's
first truly dynamic corrective brace for Idiopathic
(unknown cause) Scoliosis (AIS).
The brace is capable of delivering therapeutic success in 89% of cases. In more
than 90% of cases, curve remains stable even after patients were taken out of
brace for 2 years. The stability of treatment results is brought about by the
brace's dynamic corrective actions which promote neuromuscular re-education and
integration.
This brace is indicated for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis patients with a Cobb
angle between 20° and 50° and Risser sign 0 to 3 or pre-menarche.
